The Kissimmee Kumquats had to overcome a good performance from Oviedo pitcher Wyatt Stanovich to claim a 3-2 win at Bright House Field. Stanovich went 6 innings and allowed 2 runs. The win went to Evan Woosley in relief, making him now 2-0. Ambrosio Cruz took the loss for Oviedo. Lombard Morrow stitched up the save, his 6th.

Third Baseman Neil Cochran made an impact for Kissimmee, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Wyatt Stanovich in the bottom of the third. For the contest, Cochran went 1 for 4 with a double.

Afterward, Oviedo manager Matt Milton said: "We've got to find a way to pick up a win."

Oviedo is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 16 in a row.
