Behind a fine performance from Debby Alonzo, the Miramar Sun Dogs knocked off the Hialeah Gales, 12-3. Alonzo was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Sun Dogs. Now 46-20, the Sun Dogs have won 12 games in a row.

In the top of the sixth, Miramar third baseman Tris Running had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Running stroked a 2-run single to center. It made the score 6-3, Miramar. For the game, he went 2-5 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
