The Coral Springs Manatees beat the West Palm Beach Dolphins, 3-0. Coral Springs pitcher and Newton, Kansas, native Braydon Dybdahl led the way. Dybdahl picked up the win for Coral Springs, going 6 innings. He gave up no runs on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 3-5. The first-place Manatees go to 49-20.
Coral Springs used the timely hitting of Cliff Lake to capture the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Manatees on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.
"Being able to contribute to a win is always a great feeling," Lake told the Coral Springs Citizen.
