The Helena Brewers defeated the Reidsville Red Sox, 8-1, in Pioneer League action at Kindrick Legion Field. Helena pitcher Jimmy Thornton had a standout performance. Thornton picked up the win for Helena, going 8 innings. He gave up 1 run on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 6-2. With the win, the Brewers have a record of 36-33.
