Riding the 4-hit performance of shortstop Alfred Jett, the Phoenix Armadillos got a road win against the Tempe Impalas, 8-6, in Game 2 of the Wild Card Series. Jett went 4 for 5 with 4 singles for the Armadillos, who now lead the best-of-5 series, 2 games to 0.

Emmanuel Lowell hit a run-scoring triple off Ron Sepulveda in the top of the eighth, which put the Armadillos in front, 7-6. Lowell had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.

Impalas manager Aaron Lambert did not take questions after the game, telling assembled reporters that he would hold a press conference "if and when we win the R Championship Series."

The next game is set to be played for Wednesday, September 9th , 2065 at Maryvale Baseball Park in Phoenix.
