Catfish Even With Saguaros After Home Win
|
The Bullhead City Catfish and the Mesa Saguaros will take the Wild Card Series to a decisive 5th game. In a must-win situation, the Catfish beat the Saguaros, 3-1, at Scottsdale Stadium to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Bullhead City left-hander Jace Guy had a big role in the win. He threw 7.1 innings of 4-hit ball.
Guy threw well for Bullhead City, thwarting the Mesa offense. The left-hander tossed 88 pitches over 7.1 innings. He allowed just 1 run on 4 hits.
"Coming in, from the get-go, I knew my stuff was good," said Guy.
Game 5 is scheduled for Saturday at Capitals Ballpark in Mesa.
