Swordfish Win Wild Card Series
|
The Florence Swordfish have booked their place in the Divisional Series.
By a score of 5-3, the club ousted the Chandler Ranchers in the Wild Card Series tonight at Goodyear Ballpark.
Florence won the series by a 3-1 margin. The series MVP was Swordfish catcher J.J. Garland.
For his part, the MVP said he is not putting too much stock in the individual honor and instead simply "looking forward to the next round."
The Divisional Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wild Card Series finishes.
