Pembroke Pines Wins at Home to Take 2-1 Lead in WCS
The Pembroke Pines Herons moved to within one game of the Divisional Series, downing the visiting Sanibel Sailors at Charlotte Sports Park by a score of 10-3. Herons center fielder Algernon Martin did some major damage. He went 3-5 with 2 triples. He scored 3 runs. The win gives the Herons a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-5 Wild Card Series.

Anderson Prado contributed to the Pembroke Pines win with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the second. For the game, the left fielder had 3 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.

Prado told a local reporter: "My job is to go out and play as hard as I can."
