Montgomery Biscuits shortstop Ford Mallon was the difference-maker at Rebels Ballpark, as he led his club to victory in a pivotal Game 5 of the Wild Card Series. The Biscuits took the 17-8 win over the Pensacola Blue Wahoos to seize a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Brody Ross contributed to the Montgomery win with a 2-run home run in the top of the second. For the game, the left fielder had 3 hits in 6 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 2 runs scored, and 2 RBI.

"I just try to bring what I bring to this team," said Mallon.

The next game is set to be played for Friday, September 7th , 2057 at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery.
