El Paso Wins Divisional Series
The fans in El Paso are celebrating the Chihuahuas victory over the Inland Empire 66ers in the Divisional Series.

They defeated the Inland Empire 66ers 3-1 in the finale played at Southwest University park to capture the series 4-2.

Tre Murry was chosen the series' Most Valuable Player. The Chihuahuas second baseman batted .400, drove in 3 runs and scored 3 runs in the series.

"The 66ers are a good club and I don't mean any disrespect to their pitching staff, but things just felt easy this series," Murry said. "Everything at the plate seemed right."

The Regional Championship Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
