When the games really matter, the Madison Muskies put on their best show, beating the Lake County Captains by a final score of 5-0 today. Brandon Perlow was 1-2 with a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. Madison now leads Lake County 3-2 in the best-of-7 affair.

The Muskies had to work out of trouble in the top of the sixth. The score was 5-0, Madison, with no one out. Lake County, with the bases loaded, was mounting a threat. Ray Hudec dug in at the plate, but on a first pitch fastball, he flied out.
