Road Win Lifts New Orleans to 3-0 Lead in WCS
The New Orleans Baby Cakes moved to within one game of the Divisional Series, downing the Sacramento River Cats on the road at River Cats Ballpark by a score of 6-1. Baby Cakes right-hander Herman Marin had a strong outing. He threw 6.0 innings allowing 1 run. The win gives the Baby Cakes a 3-0 advantage in the best-of-7 Wild Card Series.

Ernesto Javier helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a 2-run single to give New Orleans a 2-0 lead.

New Orleans manager Bobby Gomez commended his team for exhibiting "no shortage of effort."
