Altoona Wins at Home to Narrow Series Deficit to 3-1
On the verge of being swept and facing a red-hot Binghamton Rumble Ponies team, Gary Chinchilla had a tough assignment. He delivered.

The Altoona Curve right-hander dominated the hosts, tossing 5.2 innings of shutout ball and guiding his club to its first victory of the series, 5-0. Chinchilla, 22, threw 5.2 innings of shutout ball in the contest. The win means Altoona now trails 3-1 in the best-of-7 series.

Warren Ceja, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2063 draft, took Binghamton hurler Colin Frank deep in the bottom of the fourth. His solo home run put the Curve on top, 1-0. In all, Ceja had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.

"You need to show up when your number's called," said Ceja.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at People's Natural Gas Field in Altoona.
