Fisher Cats Hammered by Montejano, Fall Further Behind in WCS
Riding the 3-hit performance of second baseman Santiago Montejano, the Lincoln Bighorns stopped the visiting New Hampshire Fisher Cats, 9-4, in Game 2 of the Wild Card Series. Montejano went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Bighorns, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 0.

Shon Miller had a key at-bat with two out in the bottom of the fifth for Lincoln. With the bases loaded and the Bighorns leading 5-4, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

"We did more than enough to get the win," said Montejano.

Game 3 is scheduled for Monday at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester.
