Jordan Blasts Engineers, Braves Take Game 3, 7-5
Riding the 4-hit performance of first baseman Uriel Jordan, the Mississippi Braves stopped the visiting Shreveport Engineers, 7-5, in Game 3 of the Wild Card Series. Jordan went 4-4 with a home run, a triple, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Braves, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 1.

In the bottom of the 1st, Mississippi took the lead on a 3-run home run by Michael Cly. At the time, the Braves were trailing 2-0, but Cly's hit with two outs against Shreveport pitcher Nathan Tanner put them in front, 3-2.

"It wasn't our best performance," said Cly, "but a win in the playoffs is nothing to sniff at."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Trustmark Park in Pearl.
