Engineers Advance to Divisional Series
Mark one up for the Shreveport Engineers.

In the crucial final game, they put away the Mississippi Braves 9-4 at Engineers Ballpark to win the Wild Card Series, 4-3 and advance to the Divisional Series.

Although his team came up short, Mississippi's Uriel Jordan was named the series MVP, with many of the league media feeling the series would have been over much sooner if not for his contributions.

"Jordan did a lot to keep Mississippi in it, no doubt about that," said Engineers manager Kip Fors.

The Divisional Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wild Card Series finishes.
