Corpus Christi Win Brings Series to 3-1
The Corpus Christi Hooks defeated the St. Petersburg Flying Squirrels, 3-1, in Game 4 of the Wild Card Series. Making an impact was first baseman Heath Cunningham, who went 2-3 with 2 singles and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 2 runs. The win narrows Corpus Christi's deficit in the series to 3-1.

Cunningham had a key at-bat in the top of the fifth to put Corpus Christi in front, 3-0. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 2-run single off St. Petersburg pitcher Geo Sadikian.

Flying Squirrels manager Flip Brooks did not take questions after the game, telling assembled reporters that he would hold a press conference "if and when we win the AA Championship Series."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Diamond in St. Petersburg.
