Nashville Breaks Through for First Win in Divisional Series; Now Trails 2-1
The Nashville Sounds defeated the Tacoma Rainiers, 6-2 in Game 3 of the Divisional Series today. The key to the win was starter Pete Gautschi, who threw 6.0 innings of shutout ball. The win narrows Nashville's deficit in the series to 2-1.

In the bottom of the first, Nashville third baseman Jasper Carlyon had a productive at-bat. With a runner on 3rd and two out, Carlyon stroked a 2-run home run to right-center. It made the score 2-0, Nashville. For the game, he went 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"Everything felt in sync," said Gautschi.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at First Tennessee Park in Nashville.
