Road Win Lifts Napa to 1-0 Lead in DS
The Napa Silverados started the Divisional Series in style today, winning on the road against the Sonoma Stompers at Bright House Field by a score of 4-2 to take an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Silverados right-hander Leonard Thomas threw 7.1 innings of shutout ball.

Napa used the timely hitting of Seth Chapman to capture the win. The shortstop socked a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Silverados ahead, 2-0. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a big one.

Thomas attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Bright House Field in Sonoma.
