Raucous Cheney Stadium Crowd Propels Rainiers to 10-3 Victory; Series Tied at 1

The Tacoma Rainiers defeated the New Orleans Baby Cakes, 10-3, in Game 2 of the Divisional Series. Doing his part was starter R.J. Torres, who threw 6.1 innings of 5-hit ball. The win moves Tacoma into a 1-1 tie with New Orleans in the series.
Reyes Cuevas hit a 2-run double off Herman Marin in the bottom of the third, which put the Rainiers in front, 4-2. In addition to the double, Cuevas had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 4.
"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Cuevas.
The next game is set to be played for Thursday, October 5th , 2062 at Zephyr Field in New Orleans.
