Bighorns Even With Pilots After Home Win
The Lincoln Bighorns and the Wichita Pilots will take the Regional Championship Series to a decisive 7th game. In a must-win situation, the Bighorns beat the Pilots, 6-2, at ONEOK Field to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Lincoln designated hitter Wilburn Bayne went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI.

Bayne had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh, when he hit a bases-clearing double. The Bighorns went on to win.

"We've got a great group of guys," Bayne said, "and we're having fun right now."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at ONEOK Field in Lincoln.
