Bats Fail for Barnstormers in 4-1 Loss
|
The Akron RubberDucks beat the Lancaster Barnstormers, 4-1. Akron pitcher and Struthers, Ohio, native Stuart Kawata led the way. The Barnstormers continue "in the red" at 9-18.
Kawata delivered a quality start for Akron. The 6' 0" right-hander allowed 1 earned run on 3 hits over 7.1 innings of work.
"Stuart is still learning," said RubberDucks manager Darren Harris. "The sky's the limit for him."
