Halvorson has 3 hits tonight, Leads Metros to Win
The Quebec Metros cruised to a win over the Erie SeaWolves, 14-4, at Jerry Uht Park. Erik Halvorson led the way, going 3-for-5 for Quebec. Quebec pitcher Brantley Carey got the win, upping his record to 2-0. Albert Broughton got the loss. The Metros improved to a lofty 22-7.

Halvorson was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 5 against the SeaWolves. With the game tied in the top of the ninth inning, he hit a run-scoring single that put Quebec in front, 5-4.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Halvorson said. "We did a good job of that today."
