The Lancaster Barnstormers downed the Altoona Curve, 4-2, at People's Natural Gas Field. Kyle Rich led the way, going 3-for-4 for Lancaster. Kenny Harbin, the winner, improved to 1-1. He held the Curve to 2 runs on 5 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 7 and walking 1. The Barnstormers raised their record to 11-18.

Lancaster used a well-timed hit by Jorge Rosa to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 2-run double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Barnstormers ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"Winning is hard sometimes," said Barnstormers manager Gustavo Resendiz. "This one was nice to get."
