Baysox Rebuff Curve, 6-4

The Altoona Curve and Bowie Baysox left the fans buzzing.
The Bowie Baysox overcame a good performance by Altoona right fielder Gavin Sutton to knock off Altoona, 6-4, at Prince George's Stadium. Sutton was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Monty Roberts went 6 innings, allowing 2 runs on 5 hits. The right-hander struck out 4 and walked 3. With the win, he's now 2-0 this season. Patrick Chakos notched his 4th save of the season.
Maximus Wallace hit a 2-run double off Edwin Ramey in the bottom of the sixth, which put the Baysox in front, 3-2. In addition to the double, Wallace had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
"They had a good approach," Altoona skipper Logan Longpre said of the opposition. "Hats off to them."
The 7th-place Baysox improved to 12-19.
