Binghamton Loses, 5-3, to Yonkers in 11
The Yonkers Dark Knights picked up a win at Gunslingers Ballpark, taking down the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, 5-3, in 11 innings. On the mound for Yonkers was right-hander Augustin Castillo. He played a central role in the triumph. Yonkers reliever Michael Bruton was the winner. His record is now 1-3. The losing pitcher was Jeremiah Tashiro. The 6th-place Dark Knights go to 16-20.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the 11th for Yonkers. That's when Jayden Johnson hit a 2-run home run off 24-year old left-handed pitcher Jeremiah Tashiro to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"You need to show up when your number's called," said Johnson.
