Morisett, Frigates Get 4-0 Win
|
Halifax Frigates starter Shelton Morisett turned in an exceptional performance against the New Haven Ravens at The Ballpark at Jackson, resulting in a Halifax win, 4-0. The 5th-place Frigates improved to 17-19.
Morisett earned the win, going 7 strong innings for Halifax. The right-hander allowed just 3 hits, while striking out 8. New Haven hitters had little success against him.
"Shelton did a good job of shutting their lineup down," said Halifax manager Colby Fleming.
