Providence pitcher Leo Hutton did his part in helping his team defeat the Altoona Curve, 5-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the left-hander. The winner was Hutton. He threw 6.1 innings allowing 1 run. The loser was Gary Chinchilla. With the win, the Crabs improved to 15-18.
