The Hartford Yard Goats thumped the Somerset Patriots, 10-2, at Arm & Hammer Park. B.J. Baldwin was a big reason his team got the win. Baldwin went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. The defeat makes Somerset 20-14.

With Hartford trailing 2-1 in the top of the third, Baldwin hit a fastball from Dillon Gaudreault for a 2-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Yard Goats ahead, 3-2.

"We did more than enough to get the win," said Baldwin.
