The Erie SeaWolves topped the Yonkers Dark Knights, 5-4, in Eastern League action at Gunslingers Ballpark. The game was highlighted by the performance of Erie center fielder Rodney Diallo. Erie reliever Harbir Jai picked up the win, while Paxton Stach took the loss for Yonkers. Albert Broughton nailed down his 6th save.

Erie used the timely hitting of Teddy Williams to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the SeaWolves on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Diallo.

The SeaWolves improved to 18-15.
