The Altoona Curve scored a tight, 3-2 win versus the Hartford Yard Goats at People's Natural Gas Field. Altoona pitcher Jaxon DiDonato held his own in the contest. Altoona reliever Lark Scott picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Micky Martineau took the loss. Irvin Montano sewed up the save, his 7th.

Josais Rolon was 1 for 5 for Altoona. The 26-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Micky Martineau. It was his 4th RBI of the season.

Altoona manager Logan Longpre said his team played a "no nonsense" game.

With the win, Altoona pushed its record to 29-15.
