Quebec Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
Not everyone stuck through the 63-minute rain delay, but those who did went home happy.

Behind the bravura of second baseman Brody Green, the Quebec Metros topped the Lancaster Barnstormers by the score of 6-5. Green was 4 for 4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times for the Metros. Quebec reliever Delwyn Johnson picked up the win, while Timmy Mayo took the loss for Lancaster.

Dave Mrozek was the walk-off hero for Quebec. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Metros first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It was a solid team effort," Mrozek said. "That's usually what it takes to win."

Quebec goes to 31-16. The win puts them 2½ games up in their division.
