The Erie SeaWolves rode a solid performance from 23-year-old starting pitcher Jeremiah Rector to a win, beating the Wichita Pilots, 4-2, at Jerry Uht Park. The SeaWolves move to 22-24 with the win, while the Pilots drop to 29-17.

The SeaWolves got a big at-bat from third baseman Lewis Brisson. For the game, Brisson was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Erie a 2-0 lead.

"Jeremiah was hitting his spots and everything had life," said Erie manager Jose Villalobos.
