MGM Park was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Altoona Curve and Halifax Frigates.

Starting pitcher Ronnie D'Andrea pitched well enough to help the Altoona Curve beat the Halifax Frigates, 4-3. Getting the save was Giovanni Borromini, his 2nd.

Randy Murphy, the 22-year old center fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Murphy contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put Altoona up, 4-2.

D'Andrea told the Altoona News: "I don't know which I enjoy more -- being a ballplayer or the perks that come with being a ballplayer."

After today's action, Altoona sits at 16-29, while Halifax falls to 15-30.
