A good performance from shortstop Cayden Magness helped the Halifax Frigates defeat the Altoona Curve, 6-3. Magness was 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Frigates. Jaba Peralta picked up the win in relief for Halifax, while Bernard Morris took the loss. Halifax is now 17-31.

Magness had a clutch at-bat in the bottom of the sixth for the Frigates. Coming up with runners on 1st and 3rd and Halifax trailing 3-2, he hit a 3-run home run.

"Cayden is still learning," said Frigates manager Leo Olvera. "The sky's the limit for him."
