|
The Lincoln Bighorns beat the Portland Sea Dogs, 7-6, in 16 innings at ONEOK Field. Lincoln first baseman Abraham Fallon had an outstanding performance. He went 5-6 with 5 singles and 2 walks. The Eastern League Southwest Division-leading Bighorns are 36-9.
The Bighorns got a clutch hit from right fielder James Fancher. In the bottom of the 16th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Bighorns.
"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Fancher said.
