The Erie SeaWolves downed the Somerset Patriots, 5-4, the largest share of the credit belonging to shortstop Daniel Sacayanan. On the day, Sacayanan went 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the SeaWolves. With the win, Erie pushed its record to 26-25.

Sacayanan contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Erie in the top of the fourth. With his team trailing 2-0, Sacayanan took a changeup from Kyle Kison and stroked the home run to left. His 2nd home run of the season allowed the SeaWolves to leap in front, 4-2.
