Patriots Pick Up 7-3 Win
The Lincoln Bighorns got a superb performance from pitcher B.J. Jonas. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Somerset. The Patriots won the game, 7-3. Jonas threw 6.1 innings of 5-hit ball. Somerset, at 21-28, holds down 7th place in the Eastern League Southwest Division.

Nathan Franke had a big hit for Somerset in the bottom of the seventh inning. With Somerset leading 4-3, Franke hit a bases-clearing double. It was his 5th double of the season and put the Patriots up, 7-3.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Franke told a Somerset Daily reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
