Pilots, Escalante Pin Bad Loss on Bighorns
The Wichita Pilots pasted the Lincoln Bighorns with a convincing 11-1 defeat at Regions Field. Elder Escalante was a prime factor in the Wichita win. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 runs and drove in 7. The winner was Wichita reliever Sergio Rodriguez, now 1-0. The loser was Cedric Bastien. Wichita's record now stands at 28-23, placing them 4th in the Eastern League Southwest Division.
