Arm & Hammer Park played host to some high drama.

The Somerset Patriots faced a tough opponent in Providence pitcher Griffin Freeburg, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Arm & Hammer Park by a final score of 4-3. Freeburg went 5.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. At 19-32, Somerset is in last place in the Eastern League Southwest Division.

Somerset got a knockout punch from Wilton Gill. The catcher hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"This joint was rocking," said Gill.
