Patriots Collect 5-2 Win Versus Bowie

Somerset and Bowie duked it out and the Patriots came out victorious.
Starting pitcher Tony Willis took care of business, helping the Somerset Patriots stifle the Bowie Baysox, 5-2. Somerset has 3 straight wins, Bowie 5 straight losses.
Elijah Rutherford was 1-5. He drove in 2 runs for Somerset. The 24-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the fifth. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 0-0 tie with a 2-run single off Carl Pedersen. It was his 42nd hit of the season.
