RubberDucks Walk It Off for 28th Win of Season
The Halifax Frigates got a superb performance from third baseman E.J. Fleischmann. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Akron. The RubberDucks won the game, 5-4. Fleischmann went 2 for 3 with a double and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Akron, at 28-31, holds down 6th place in the Eastern League Southwest Division.

In the bottom of the seventh, with one out and the game tied, 3-3, catcher Valentín Reyes won it for Akron. With a runner on 2nd, Reyes hit a 2-0 fastball from Tommy Weese for a run-scoring single, giving his team the 4-3 win.

"It's great when the crowd is energized," Reyes said.
