Quebec rode a decent outing from starter Akira Stevens to victory over the Halifax Frigates. The final score was 3-2. The Metros improve their record to 43-21 with the win over Halifax.
Dave Mrozek, who leads the EL in hits with 80, came through for Quebec with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fifth. The first baseman went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 2 RBI.
"I was a little disappointed," said Halifax manager Leo Olvera. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
