Rumble Ponies Make It 4 In a Row with 7-1 Triumph Over Altoona
Binghamton beat Altoona on the strength of starter Jacques Gray's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 7-1. Binghamton, at 37-27, holds down 4th place in the Eastern League North Division.

The Rumble Ponies got a big hit from first baseman Robbie Thorne. In the bottom of the sixth, Thorne pounded a bases-clearing double to right-center. His 15th double of the season put the Rumble Ponies ahead, 5-1.

"They played a better game than we did," said Altoona skipper Sam Paulson.
