The 2057 season is getting uglier for Binghamton.

The Halifax Frigates defeated the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, 15-3, at NYSEG Stadium. Halifax center fielder Wiley Hite had a superb performance. He was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Yoandri Mancilla got the win, improving to 2-4. He held the Rumble Ponies to 3 runs on 4 hits over 5.1 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 2. Earning his 1st save of the year was Vinnie Knauss.

With Halifax leading 2-0 in the top of the fourth, Hite hit a fastball from Emil Beniquez for a 2-run double. It was his 5th double of the season and put the Frigates ahead, 4-0.

"We need to step it up, period," said an agitated Binghamton manager Chris Jaeger.

The Rumble Ponies, now 14-50, have lost 10 in a row.
