The Altoona Curve beat the Halifax Frigates, 8-7, in 11 innings at MGM Park. Warren Ceja, in particular, was impressive. He was 3-6 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Altoona is in 5th place in the Eastern League Southwest Division with a record of 33-35.

The game was all tied up in the top of the 11th, until Ceja delivered big-time for Altoona, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Benjamin Morgan. The game-changing hit put the Curve on top, 8-7.

"This was one of those 'not to be denied' games," said Altoona field general Jose Ortiz.
