In a low-scoring tilt between the Altoona Curve and the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, 24-year old right-handed pitcher Ramón Lara was the difference-maker. The Altoona right-hander spearheaded the 2-0 win. With this game in the books, Altoona is 41-31, New Hampshire 41-31.

The Fisher Cats had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Curve going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 23-year old shortstop Woody Rosen came to the plate. Rosen hit a run-scoring double on a 1-0 fastball from New Hampshire hurler Jayson Wood. It was Rosen's 3rd double of the year.

"I had everything working," said Lara.
