Dark Knights Come Back Late to Clip RubberDucks
The Yonkers Dark Knights gave their fans something to talk about with a thrilling, walk-off win.

The Akron RubberDucks got a sterling performance from pitcher Maury Turner, but the Yonkers Dark Knights still prevailed, 5-4. Turner threw 5.0 innings of shutout ball. Yonkers is now 34-40, Akron 40-34.

Luís Giron was the walk-off hero for Yonkers. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Dark Knights right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"The crowd was raucous," said Giron.
