McRae goes 3-for-4 as RubberDucks Squeeze Past Yonkers
|
In a high-scoring game between Akron and Yonkers, right fielder Ryan McRae was a difference-maker. The 26-year-old helped Akron grab the 10-9 win. He was 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Nathan Frascella collected his 7th save. The 6th-place RubberDucks have a record of 34-40.
McRae had a key at-bat for Akron early in the game. With the bases loaded, he hit a bases-clearing double. It was his 8th double of the season and gave Akron an early 3-0 lead.
"Even warm beer tastes good after a win," said McRae.
