Ventura Leads Crabs to Win
With Morton Ventura leading the charge, the Providence Crabs defeated the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, 9-3. Ventura was 2 for 3 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3 for the Crabs. The win makes Providence 44-33.

With Providence leading 5-0 in the bottom of the sixth, Ventura came up to bat against New Hampshire pitcher Bentley Lee. Ventura hit a fastball to left for a 3-run home run. His 6th home run of the season put the Crabs on top, 8-0.
